The College is pleased to announce that five Gifted and Talented (GT) scholarships will be made available to eligible students for the academic year 2010/11.
The GT scholarships will be to a maximum value of 50% of the College’s A-level tuition fee and will apply to the duration of a student's studies at the College.
To be eligible for an Abbey College London GT scholarships students must be:
- A UK national
- 16 years of age after 1st September 2010
- Qualified* to enable them to begin an A-level programme in September 2010
- Willing to study A-level subjects as offered by the College
- Aiming for one of the following subjects at university: medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, economics, management or law
Qualified status can be evidenced via UK GCSEs; IGCSEs or an overseas equivalent to UK GCSE where that equivalent qualification has been taken by a student who is a UK national. A minimum of 8A*/A grades at GCSE (or equivalent) must have been achieved).

Applications for a GT scholarship must be submitted on or before 31st May 2010. The Principal will consider all applications and successful applicants will be invited to attend a GT scholarship interview at the end of June or beginning of July 2010.
